Key Challenges Identified
- Residents need to understand how the C3 (Complaints form) works and also the Call Centre which is new.
- Councillor needs to call a meeting with the City of Cape Town’s Utilities head to explain to residents the process for securing maintenance to rental stock.
- To form a Joint Monitoring Committee and to schedule the first workshop with the Councillor

C3 complaints form: The form was explained at community meetings with the councillor. More work is needed in this regard.
Improving communication for community meetings: Communication seems to be improving with the use of WhatsApp notices.
More spaces should be created for community engagement with councillors to raise issues of concern and to clear up misunderstandings or areas of service delivery concerns of the residents.
